Look at the study, not just the headline

Consider what was tested, how many people took part, whether there was a placebo group and how long the study lasted. Research on a different cannabinoid or a prescription medicine does not automatically apply to an SOS oil.

An example: CBD and sleep

A 2024 pilot trial compared 150 mg of CBD nightly with placebo in 30 people with insomnia over a two-week treatment period. Most sleep outcomes were similar between groups. Some wellbeing and objective sleep-efficiency measures favoured CBD.

A small, short study does not settle whether CBD works for everyone. It also does not establish serving directions for SOS products.
